B. Development of the Concept or Skill (Information Activity) – This is the main body of the lesson. Carefully organize information in a step by step fashion. Describe methods. Keep students active by using hands-on materials, demonstrations, modeling, etc. in all subject areas.
C. Conclusion (Application Activity) – This is where students have opportunity to practice what they have learned thus far in the lesson, and to receive guidance and feedback from the teacher. Describe activities in which pupils will practice what they have learned during the development of the lesson. This step requires the student to make sense out of new learning. Describe methods. Keep students active.
D. Evaluation of Learning – The purpose of this section is to answer the question, “How will I know if students accomplished the objectives of this lesson?” Do the students understand the concept of skill that was taught? Are they able to use new skills? How will you evaluate if learning took place? This section should directly relate to the criteria portion of your objectives.
